Sometimes life is confusing, more stressful than we think we can handle, or seemingly hopeless. No one should have to navigate their struggles alone, and I'm so glad you've landed here, looking at this page. Whether you're considering counseling to address depression, anxiety, or trauma, or you're seeking guidance amid stress in relationships or work, or it's something in between - I would love to join you on your healing journey.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with several years of experience providing individual and couples counseling, I have worked with many clients with many different types of concerns. While I bring expertise from my training and clinical experience, you are the expert on your life, and I believe the therapeutic relationship is ultimately a partnership aimed at helping you to achieve the goals you want. I strive to provide a safe, welcoming space for you, and one of my favorite phrases that encapsulates this goal is "practicing nonjudgmental curiosity." There is so much freedom to be found when we can honestly explore thoughts, feelings, and behaviors without fear of judgment.

I integrate multiple modalities into treatment depending on your unique needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Cognitive Processing Therapy. All of the approaches I use are evidence-based. If you’re unsure what those treatment models are, no worries! You’re like most people. I value educating on how certain therapies work for clients who are curious about the process.

I received my BA in Psychology from IU Bloomington and my MSW from Washington University in St. Louis. I am an Indiana native but have lived in St. Louis and Kansas City, MO at different times in my life. I am glad to have returned to my Indiana home! In my free time, I enjoy going on walks around downtown Indy with my husband, playing piano and other instruments, experimenting with new recipes, and connecting with my faith community.
