“There is hope, even when your brain tells you there isn’t.”

-John Green

Life is full of various challenges that can be hard to navigate alone. We all have different life experiences, responsibilities, stressors, and environments that can impact our daily living. As a result, there may be times we become consumed with thoughts, emotions, and situations that feel difficult to manage. I am here to help by providing a safe, compassionate, and welcoming space to assist in improving your overall mental health and well-being. I help individuals who may be struggling with their mood, disordered eating/eating disorders, body image, self-esteem, and relationships.

Majority of my clinical experience has been with individuals with disordered eating/eating disorders and mood/anxiety disorders. I have experience working at various levels of care (PHP, IOP, and outpatient services) with adolescents and adults through individual, couples, family, and group therapy. I incorporate information about neurobiology to help clients understand how the brain plays a role in disordered eating/eating disorders and mood related concerns. I work with clients to identify their thinking patterns, process emotions, and use healthy coping skills to improve mood and create new habits. I approach treatment through evidence-based practices that are tailored to fit each client’s specific needs. These include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to name a few.

I believe the therapeutic relationship is the most important factor in the therapy process and will meet you where you are at in your healing journey. We will work together to set achievable therapy goals to help you feel better and make positive change.

Personally, I was born and raised in Fort Wayne, IN then moved to Ohio for a few years before returning to Indiana. I enjoy spending time with friends and family, reading, sports, shopping, and exploring Indianapolis. I look forward to supporting you throughout your time in therapy!
