Deciding to begin your therapy journey is never easy. Often, it takes reaching a low point, feeling isolated, or becoming stuck in a place where your struggles seem insurmountable. When it feels like you're trapped in an unbreakable cycle, we can work together to untangle these challenges using the solutions that have been with you all along. I believe in your inherent strength and capability, though at times, repeated setbacks can cause us to lose confidence in ourselves. If you feel that your challenges are too complex or overwhelming to manage on your own, I may be the right therapist to help you navigate through it all.

My experience in mental health spans across 5+ years of schooling and 7+ years of practice in multiple different settings. My training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) has equipped me with the skills to assist clients in overcoming barriers in their healing process from traumatic experiences. EMDR targets the root of painful memories, enabling individuals to process and move beyond them, reducing their impact on present-day functioning. Additionally, I have completed training courses in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) therapy to empower my clients with OCD to navigate and overcome the symptoms that hinder their personal growth.

As for a little bit about me personally, I grew up in Fort Wayne. I received my Master’s degree from Indiana University in Indianapolis. I am the youngest of six children, and I love nothing more than to spend time with my family and friends. I am naturally very extroverted, energetic, and I have an approachable nature that allows me to connect with others in a way that fosters trust and encourages growth. Additionally, I bring a unique perspective to my work, having personally navigated the untimely loss of two close family members during my childhood and early adulthood. These experiences have taught me that healing is not always a linear process, but it is always possible, and there is always hope.

If you feel ready to start your therapy journey, feel free to schedule an intake appointment or a free 15-minute consultation with me to see if we would be a good fit. I look forward to being a part of your healing journey.
