If you have arrived at my bio because you have experienced trauma or Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), I can only imagine what you are feeling in this moment. I want to say that I am glad that you are seeking help. Even though you may feel trapped in your body and the patterns and compulsions you experience, if no one has told you before, I want to be the first to tell you that there is hope. You don't have to live this way. I have had the pleasure of walking with 10+ years worth of clients towards freedom, relief, and success.
Currently, I use EMDR to treat survivors of sexual and physical abuse and assault. I love EMDR because it untangles all of the emotions and memories tied together, and helps individuals move foreword without trauma constantly taking over their thoughts.
I also treat OCD using Exposure Response Prevention and am a provider listed on the International OCD Foundation’s website. I have seen how effective ERP is, and love seeing clients take back control of their lives from OCD!
Oreo, my therapy dog, is also in sessions with anyone who wants him there. He is great with making individuals feel comfortable and safe. He loved all of the pets he can get!
I am married to my wonderful husband, and we have three dogs.I love to go hiking, watch movies, hang out with friends, explore new places, and spend time with my dogs. I am always up for trying new activities and different foods.
I can’t wait to meet you!
